When we fisrt starting working on the idea of creating a local business directory we wanted to raise the bar a little higher than it's been set in the past. Our main reason for starting the directory was that we saw there were currently 2 types of directories - Those that listed every business found in the big yellow phone book. & Those that listed every business found in the big yellow phone from 3 years ago.
We wanted Bizspot.ca to be different. We plan to accomplish this by running scheduled checks on the businesses that list and advertise on our site. Let's face it businesses come and go - but as a directory is not our responsibility to make sure that the information we provide is as up-to-date as possible?
